Provides operational support through the coordination of the quality, service and administrative functions for a hub or station.
Responsible for the dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan to minimize costs and ensure service integrity.
Access pick up and distribution systems, assign pick ups and reconcile daily.
Provide critical support by training and mentoring CSA's and other team members.
Verifies performance information and creates service assurance reports for management review.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years work experience in pick-up and distribution systems.
Previous experience with FedEx performance and service reporting systems a plus.
Multiple opco system knowledge preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures and transportation regulations used in Pickup and Delivery and Linehaul field operations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
