We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Concrete Laborers to join our team.
As a Concrete Laborer, you will play a vital role in assisting with various tasks related to concrete work.
This includes loading, unloading, and transporting concrete materials, equipment, and tools, as well as assisting with site preparation, form building, pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete.
If you have prior construction labor experience, particularly in the concrete industry, and are skilled in using hand tools and operating mechanical equipment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, transport, and stage concrete materials, equipment, and tools
Assist with general site preparation duties, cleaning of equipment, & monitoring jobsite
Assist with building and setting up forms, molding expansion joints and edges
Assist with finished concrete work, using stains or colors to add the finishing touch
Cleaning and inspecting surfaces for pouring issues
Assist with pouring, smoothing, and leveling concrete
Flagging traffic near, around, and in work zones.
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum one (1) year of construction labor experience (Concrete Industry preferred)
Must be able to work all areas of the island
Must be able to physically lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of equipment to perform job requirements
Skilled in using hand tools and operating mechanical equipment
