Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.
The Position:
We're looking for a passionate Head Certified Nurse Aide to serve as a role model for Certified Nurse Aides, Nursing Aides and Nursing Unit Helpers.
Performs all Certified Nurse Aide duties.
Acts as liaison between charge nurse and CNA and NA as directed.
Supervises the activities of the CNA's, NA's and NUH's on the unit.
Assists with on-the-job training of staff and provides neighborhood orientation for new hires.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
/ Minimum age of 18.
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii
Minimum of six months experience as a Certified Nurse Aide in long term care.
Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
