Role Overview
As a Dental Assistant at Lanai Community Health Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Dentists and Dental Manager to deliver high-quality dental care.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including providing chairside assistance, assist in managing appointment scheduling, sterilization of dental tools, and overseeing intake procedures for our valued LCHC dental clients.
This position is integral to our commitment to ensuring optimal oral health for the community we serve.
The role requires dedication, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to contribute to the overall success of our dental care team.
Qualifications
Completion of a recognized dental assisting program or equivalent certification.
X-ray certification and proficiency in dental radiography techniques.
Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with dental management software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
Full-time availability with flexibility for occasional overtime or schedule adjustments.
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized dental workspace.
