We will provide all necessary training to be successful as a Site Supervisor for our He Lei Piko Home Visiting Program.
*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES as a Site Supervisor*
* Provide mentoring and supervision to office and program staff to provide families with the services, information, support, and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life by implementing a quality home visiting program.
* Possess the ability to understand and perform within the organizational structure of culture-based education (CBE) and family engagement.
* Supervise a team of home visitors providing services for families with children aged prenatal through kindergarten entry.
* Responsible for implementing all aspects of the home-visiting program, including but not limited to: DOH reporting, management, coordination, recruitment, model fidelity of PAT and HIPPY Programs under the direction of the He Lei Piko Home Visiting Statewide Program Director.
* Work within the community to ensure collaboration and coordination of services.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS*
*Skills / Knowledge*
* Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Programs including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Strong writing skills and demonstrated reporting and data tracking capabilities.
* Demonstrated sensitivity and compassion to the needs of parents and children.
* Demonstrated capacity to train staff on implementing home visiting screening tools
* Experience in providing services to culturally diverse communities / families.
* Experience with family services that embrace the concept of family-centered and strength-based service provision.
*Education / Training*
* Master’s Degree and two (2) years’ experience in social work, clinical psychology, nursing, or counseling OR Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years’ experience in social work, clinical psychology, nursing, or counseling.
* Bachelor of Education degree or related field preferred.
