Job Description
Providing Inspired Food & Beverage to highlight the destination we represent is one of our passions.
As our Breakfast Supervisor, you will support the Kea Lani Restaurant Manager with opening venues, conducting pre-shifts, supporting the colleagues and providing coverage in absence of the department manager.
What you will be doing:
Provide support in breakfast venues as needed
Ensure that morning staff are set up for success each morning and have tools needed in order to succeed.
Check service stations for necessary equipment and set up: ice, dishes, and utensils; replenish
Operate as the point of contact between the hourly colleagues and Leadership team; assume the role of the Manager in their absence.
Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our venue exceeds expectations
Have full knowledge of all menu items, contents and preparation methods
Adhere to the State of Hawaii & EcoSure food handling safety standards
Organize time so all side work is completed according to shift demand
Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
One year of previous food & beverage experience required
Previous point of sale system experience preferred
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Must have an understanding of Open Table.
Must have good cash handling skills
Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast paced, high volume environment.

TB Clearance
Maui County Liquor Card
TIPS Certification
Food Safety Certification or ServSafe Certification
