Manages the care, maintenance and quality of greenhouse crops.
Oversees and participates in daily greenhouse operations to include seeding, planting, transplanting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, pest and disease management and weed control.
Responsibilities also include inventory management, equipment and greenhouse maintenance, construction of greenhouse structures and problem-solving.
Qualifications: At least three years of experience in greenhouse production, preferably organic vegetables.
Agriculture degree and experience farming in sub-tropical climate preferred.
Experience supervising staff from diverse backgrounds and with differing skill sets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation: Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 annual
