These are made entirely of solid and rare exotic maple hardwood - - golden natural finish on tiger's eye, bird's eye, and spalted hard rock maple.
The posts are hand lathe turned - with mortise and tenon construction.
The top spindles accommodate the 4 holes in the fabric canopy or mosquito net canopy.
Also works for EMF canopy.
Or just use as a 4 post poster bed.
The fittings are solid iron.
The artists are thought to be from dutch Pennsylvania, but they are unsigned.
