*Job Description:* As a Full-Time STEM Teacher and IT Support Specialist at Carden Academy of Maui, you will have the unique opportunity to inspire students through engaging STEM education while also ensuring the seamless operation of our IT support.
This role combines teaching responsibilities with technical support duties, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience for individuals passionate about both education and technology.
*Responsibilities:* * Develop and implement dynamic STEM curriculum and lesson plans that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore STEM concepts and pursue their interests.
Utilize innovative teaching methods, educational technology tools, and hands-on activities to enhance student learning experiences.
Provide technical support to students, faculty, and staff on IT-related issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, network connectivity, and classroom technology.
Maintain and update IT systems, equipment, and software to ensure optimal performance, security, and usability.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology seamlessly into STEM curriculum and instructional practices.
Stay informed about current trends and developments in STEM education and IT support to continuously improve teaching methods and technical skills.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, a STEM-related discipline, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in STEM education is preferred.
Strong proficiency in IT support and troubleshooting, including hardware, software, networking, and educational technology tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced educational environment.

Experience with educational technology platforms and tools is a plus (Microsoft Office365, Google Workspace, Apple School Manager, Adobe, FACTS SIS, etc.
