Description: Xpress Trucking, Inc.
is seeking a full-time Customer Service / Administrative Assistant to help with day-to-day organizational tasks and clerical duties, whilst providing direct support to the Maui Station Manager.
Starting Pay: Up to $18.

Sick leave and vacation 10 (paid) holidays Requirements: Duties and Responsibilities: · Answer phones and greet visitors · Communicate with customers/vendors/carriers and all staff members promptly and professionally · Assist with general questions and/or concerns · Prepare necessary documentation for freight handling/trucking · Thoroughly communicate to all parties regarding delays or discrepancies · Acknowledge and resolve customer/vendor complaints · Label and tag freight · Distribute drivers runs and customer delivery receipts to the drivers for daily jobs · Assist drivers with point of contact information for pickups/deliveries · Scheduling for pickups and deliveries · Collect all freight/trucking documentation – forward to appropriate personnel · Collect, file, and organize office documents as needed · Create and maintain physical and electronic filing · Enter and update data in company system(s) · Obtain authorization for necessary changes · Manage accounts as assigned · Assist with billing as needed · Collect customer/vendor payments as needed – forward to appropriate personnel · Serve as backup and support for station Manager · Complete all training courses as assigned · Cross train in various areas · Adhere to all Xpress Trucking, Inc.
policies and procedures · Other tasks, duties, and errands as assigned Skills and Qualifications: · Customer Service experience · Freight forwarding/logistics experience preferred · Punctual, dependable, and resourceful · Hight level of composure and good stress management · Attentional to detail, multi-task, and problem solve · Accurate typing and/or data entry skills, ability to use 10-key · Basic proficiency in MS office suite · Written and oral communication skills · Must comply with company background check, drug and alcohol testing requirements Physical Requirements: · Constant sitting and standing · Use of computer with contact typing · Use of landline/company mobile phone · Occasional walk around facility/office to assist customers and staff members · Label and tag freight as assigned The list is not intended to be construed as a complete list of all job duties performed by persons in the position.
