*Position Description*
The Contracts Specialist is responsible for managing the contracting process for DDL and ensuring the collection, completion, organization and accuracy of new construction and service contracts.
The position also manages all insurance-related activities, all subcontractor invoicing and insurance management, as well as provide support to Accounting as necessary.
*Position Requirements*
*Skills/Requirements:*
* Serves as the point person to internal and external customers for review and administration of new construction and service contracts issued to DDL.
* Coordinates the contract intake and review process with key stakeholders including Preconstruction Services, CFO, Project Manager/Project Executive, and any other external reviewer.
* Gather information and manage deadlines and deliverables.
* Track projects without contracts and ensure all insurance and reporting requirements have been mitigated until contract has been finalized.
* Oversee and manage Subcontractor insurance and payment processes- audit projects to ensure Subcontractors are maintaining correct insurance coverage and have all Lien Releases in place before finalizing payments.
* Engage Project Managers and Service Managers in Subcontractor invoice review process.
* Oversee and manage annual insurance audits, insurance renewals, COI requests, OCIP/CCIP enrollments and tracking.
* Engage stakeholders involved in the process timely and accurately deliver information to Broker and Captive.
* Manage bond requests, tracking, and reporting
* Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of general language and provisions.
* Assist CFO in insurance claims process, including maintaining logs, ensuring notices have been tendered, assist with compiling financial elements and supporting documentation.
_The role may also provide day-to-day document management, claim avoidance assistance, process development, litigation/claim support, and misc.
contract assistance as requested.

*Other Criteria:*
* Experience routing, coordinating, organizing contracts in a large organization required.
* Construction contract experience a plus.
* Insurance management and compliance experience a plus.
* Experience with FAR a plus.
* Experience with construction claims and litigation a plus.
* MEP and/or subcontractor experience a plus.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay: $75,000.
