*Job Title: Canoe Paddler | Full-time*
*Hourly Rate: $23.

As a *Canoe Paddler*, you will take our guests on a cultural journey, provide a different view of the island and help create memorable experiences.

* Be knowledgeable of Hawaiian culture and perform chant ceremony, both before and after canoe experience.
* Assist in maintaining and cleaning all pertinent equipment, i.
e.
paddles, canoe, etc.
* Prepare work area with overall sanitation and cleanliness adhering to Covid-19 guidelines and procedures implemented through Fairmont Kea Lani, Local Authorities, Accor Hotels.
* Informs guests about safety flags, ocean conditions and safety precautions.
* Enforces all beach safety rules seeking assistance from Supervisor or Security if required.
* Refers Guests to Activity agents or Concierge for additional needs or requests.
* Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests *Your experience and skills include:* * Previous experience in paddling and swimming is required.
* Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
* Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
* Must be knowledgeable in Hawaiian Culture and language.
* CPR/First Aid and Water Safety certification is required.
