PATCH - Child Care Trainer - Maui (on-call/in person)

Responsible for instructing training classes as scheduled by PATCH.
Essential Duties: * Conducts in person classes for PATCH.
* Assures the provision of necessary materials and supplies for each class.
* Familiarizes oneself with the training material and equipment.
* Distributes, gathers and completes the necessary paperwork related to each class.
* Sets up and cleans up before and after each class.
* Returns training materials and necessary paperwork to PATCH offices within a timely manner.
* Contact Island Coordinator if unable to conduct a class.
Working Conditions: Usually indoors, in a classroom setting.
Work Hours: On-call schedule with varying work hours, which may include nights and weekends.
Must possess a valid Hawaii drivers license and clean driving record with access to an insured vehicle.
The employee is required to use their personal vehicle and must be willing to travel to various locations for training.
Minimum Qualification Requirements: * Minimum three years experience providing training to adults who work with children.
Education/Experience: * Minimum 12 credits in ECE or * Associate Degree from an accredited college in ECE or related field and at least 10 year ECE experience OR * Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related and at least three years ECE experience.
