DFS is seeking a self-motivated Talent Support Specialist to support our Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Operations Support Departments.
You will provide administrative support, with tasks such as general clerical, receptionist and other administrative works as required.
In addition, you will be responsible for assisting the onboarding procedures for new joiners before being transitioned to the location team.
You will also help facilitate service and luxury standards training.
Provide general office administrative support duties such as filing, answering phones, handling correspondence and sorting mail
Assist in scheduling and coordinating with job applicants to job shadow in various company locations
Receive, process, and file all necessary materials for applicants and current employees; this includes PCNs, master roster, assistance, new hire input and health certificates
Work closely with Operations and Learning & Development departments to coordinate and implement reward, recognitions, and employee engagement
Assist in facilitating new hire orientation; communicate approved staff training and any relevant staff attendance schedules, arrange logistics for training session
Maintain employee communication boards
Manage order, inventory, receive and track supplies
Coordinate hotel, air ticket, car and/or meeting room reservations (in locations where applicable)
Prepare reports and complete other clerical work as requested
Key Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year’s administrative experience
Able to handle confidential information with discretion
Demonstrate the ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks to manage workflow
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to work quickly and accurately, with attention to details
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively
