*Position Description*
The Accounting Support role is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable team in a variety of accounting duties and responsibilities.
*Position Requirements*
* Prepare, match and/or process deposits, picking tickets/packing slips, deposits, and accounts payable invoices
* Post accounting transactions in accounting software
* Upload, organize, and file accounting department documents (reports, postings, copies, invoices) as per department protocols.
* Update and maintain all assigned logs and tracking workbooks in an accurate and efficient manner.
* Support accounting team
*Other Criteria*
* 3+ years progressively responsible experience in an Accounting Department
* Associates in Accounting (or experience equivalent) required , Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
* Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills.
* Knowledge of accounting principles, techniques and methods.
* Ability to identify issues and offer solutions.
* Able to maintain focus and achieve goals in a timely and accurate manner.
* Pay to commensurate with experience
