We are seeking an aide for a paraplegic.
My ideal aide would be available to work 4 or 5 hours a day, 3 or 4 days a week.
We also need someone who can stay with me when my parents need to go on a trip.
I can be pretty independent at times but there are still a lot of things I need help to do.
Leg stretches, standing frame, bowel care, some but not all of my transfers, getting comfy in bed, cooking and laundry for me, and helping with my dog Maggie, an adorable Black Lab you will love.
We would prefer someone with experience being a caregiver but we also can train for a kind, gentle, and intelligent person.
I would prefer to work with a female, bowel care is pretty personal business.
We would like to start at 25 dollars an hour, depending on experience.
We have an extra bedroom if you are looking for a live in position but it is not required.
